How much sugar is too much sugar ?

Sweets, sugars and a cheat day. I just had this very yummy Kheer/firni (rice-pudding) made by my mom. It was absolutely delicious. A very good friend of mine asked me how to avoid sweets, sugars and other things that we crave for and then we regret eating them. It is quite normal you see, no one can let go of that that easily. However once you get on the track and you know what exactly is to be eaten at what time and at which quantity my friend you are all set for your goals. Yes, sugars and sweets are harmful for us but not when consumed in the right quantity. A person who eats may be half a kilo of sweets at one go and a person who eats it accordingly has some difference.
